Position Information:
Mayville State University is seeking an individual to join our campus community as our JV Football Coach. We are looking for someone with strong leadership skills, deep knowledge, and experience of football preferably at the college level, and someone who is committed to developing athletes on and off the field and complying with NCAA and University rules and regulations. Travel, weekends and overnight stays are a regular part of the position. This position will report to the Head Football Coach and be ultimately responsible for implementing systems, assist with practices and scouting for the right players that will help make Mayville State University Football dominate in the division.
Duties include, but are not limited to:
JV Football Coach:
- Oversee JV football team
- Coach and build an offensive culture
- Be able to recruit and retain student athletes
- Help run special teams
- Weekly grade checks
- Tasks as assigned by other coaches
Minimum Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree
- 2 years of college or high school experience
- Highly effective communication and public speaking/presentation skills
- Ability to work evenings, weekends and fulfill travel requirements
- A valid Driver's License is required

- Ability to work independently and within a team
Preferred qualifications
- Experience with Microsoft teams and Hudl
- Ability to effectively recruit and retain high quality student-athletes
