Job Details
The PM is responsible for the overall management and oversight of the program under the direction of the Director. The PM will administer and manage the Program, act as expert for proposals and captures, develop and implement training and creating standard operating procedures. As the program administrator, the PM will set the standards for setting configurations. The PM will review and update this policy annually or as needed.
Must be a U.S. Citizen.
Clearance Required: Have a Top Secret security clearance
Responsibilities:
- Participate in program meetings and be prepared to address or disseminate anything of need concerning customer policies, procedures, and clarifications.
- Ongoing: provide coaching, mentoring, and assistance to all staff supporting the program, including interfacing with Corporate Divisions.
- Conduct annual performance reviews and recommendations for salary adjustments.
- Identify and track emerging opportunities in the DOJ, DOD and other agencies.
- Provide Subject Matter Expertise to the business development team with technical support while writing and reviewing existing and new proposals as required.
- Research and design departmental training programs and conduct training programs for instructors or facilitators.
- Other duties, as required.
Qualifications:
- Undergraduate degree or minimum of 15 years of demonstrated engineering or program management experience with a minimum of 10 years in a supervisory role
- Minimum of 10 years of demonstrated work experience in Program Management in support of DoD Program Management Office (PMO), Program Executive Office (PEO), or equivalent
- Minimum of 5 years’ experience in communicating, interacting, and working among Senior Executive Service and Flag level personnel
- Demonstrated proficiency with Microsoft Office products/ services; Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
Desired Qualifications:
- Graduate degree in business or engineering management related discipline
- Project Management Professional (PMP) or Defense Acquisition Workforce Improvement Act (DAWIA) PMP and/or DAWIA Level III PM certification or minimum of 15 years of PM experience
