What are the responsibilities and job description for the Resource Management Analyst position at Mayvin, Inc.?
Mayvin is seeking a Resource Management Analyst to support the Directorate for Combat Development within USSOCOM on Ft. Bragg, NC. The candidate will be responsible for analyzing and maintaining financial management databases to support existing and forecasted mission needs. This role involves compiling, formatting, and reporting data to prepare programming and budget management documentation, including but not limited to:
- Budget Estimate Submission (BES)
- Program Objective Memorandum (POM)
- Annual Investment Spend Plans
- Unfunded Requirements (UFR)
Responsibilities:
- Analyze budget and programming functions related to budget formulation, presentation, review, and execution.
- Utilize office automation programs and analysis software to develop accurate resourcing submissions.
- Apply knowledge of USSOCOM and DoD-specific Management Information Systems (MIS) to budget and resource management.
- Develop acquisition strategies, planning documents, and project management products such as budgets, cost estimates, schedules, risk management, and quality assurance plans.
- Prepare and present briefings that communicate program analysis and recommendations to leadership.
Must be a U.S. Citizen
Must have a Top Secret clearance
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in a relevant field
- At least 12 years of relevant experience in budget analysis, financial management, or program planning
- Extensive proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook)
- Strong understanding of DoD and USSOCOM financial management practices
- Excellent communication skills for organizing and delivering briefings
