The Mayweather Boxing Fitness Head Instructor is responsible for leading our studio
instructor team, running the quality assurance for all scheduled programs, and harvesting a
team-fueled, inclusive culture. The Head Instructor will play a fundamental role leading
classes, coaching and developing the studio instructor team, and communicating with
members to provide a premium Mayweather Boxing Fitness experience.
Requirements:
- Nationally accredited current fitness certification preferred - certifications: NSA,
ACE, ACSM, PTA Global, NASM, AFAA, NETA
- Group training certification and/or group fitness instruction experience required
- Boxing group fitness experience strongly preferred
- Must hold and maintain a current CPR/First Aid/AED certification
- Group Fitness management experience a plus
- Strong interest and passion for fitness - both personally and of others

Job Duties:
- Train and mentor instructors for ongoing success and future growth
- Foster a fun, positive, community-based, team centric environment
- Demonstrating and teaching exceptional customer service
Operational
- Maintain a clean, well maintained studio that is operationally sound
- Ensure all equipment is accounted for and in working order reporting any
equipment needs in a timely manner to direct supervisor
- Ensure all classes are appropriately staffed and/or substitute instructor confirmed
- Build and maintain MBF class size through scheduling optimization
- Help organize and run successful community bootcamps and events
- Promote and sell only Mayweather Boxing Fitness services in and out of the studio
- Manage attendance for weekly class schedule
- Respond to member inquires involving classes within 24 hours. Provide effective
decision-making regarding customer service issues and maintaining the highest
level of customer service
- Monitor class attendance statistics
- Meet weekly with direct report
What we're looking for:
- Review monthly station exercises prior to the beginning of the month to ensure
studio is adequately equipped
- Communicate weekly workouts with studio instructors for proper preparation
- Perform daily class “High 5’s” with quick “one minute” management” positive
feedback
- Perform instructor class evaluations every 60-90 days
- Instruct at minimum 8 classes/week
- Monitor, evaluate, coach and develop studio instructors in accordance with the
Mayweather Boxing Fitness training methods
- Monitor the hiring, training, and scheduling of MBF instructors
- Recruit, audition, and interview external instructor candidates. Make final
recommendation to direct supervisor for approval.
- Responsible for recruiting and thoroughly onboarding new instructors
- Responsible for meeting staff’s performance metrics (KPI's) in private training
revenueHours Per Week:
- 30 hours/week (may vary pending on location)
- Hours of work will vary depending on assigned class times and timing of
community events and be based on the discretion of their immediate supervisor.
