Fitness Instructor

The Mayweather Boxing Fitness, Fitness Coach is responsible for leading our signature studio classes and delivering a high-energy, motivating workout that inspires our participants to empower their inner champions. A Mayweather Boxing Fitness Instructor is prepared, passionate about helping others achieve a fit healthy lifestyle, team-oriented, and dedicated to offering a premium member experience.

Position Title: Fitness Coach
Reports to: Studio Manager
Schedule: 5-20 classes/hours per week
Pay Structure: $20 per class session, a combination of base class pay plus class attendance bonus.

Requirements:

• Group training certification and/or group fitness instruction experience required
• Nationally accredited current fitness certification preferred - certifications: NSA, ACE, ACSM, PTA Global, NASM, AFAA, NETA
• Boxing group fitness experience is strongly preferred
• Must hold and maintain a current CPR/First Aid/AED certification
• Strong interest and passion for fitness - both personally and for others

Job Duties:

• Greet all Members and orient new participants
• Foster a fun, positive, community-based environment
• Instruct class according to the ability level of the members participating
• Begin and end classes on time
• Set up and clean up equipment neatly and properly
• Be able to perform and demonstrate exercises in class with modifications as needed
• Promote classes
• Light administrative duties
• Call missed sales prospects from classes
• Call members to encourage bookings for classes
• Educate Members on Studio wearable technology
• Interface with visiting guests and new Members
• Comply with all Mayweather Boxing Fitness company policies and procedures
• Participate in all company events, meetings, etc.
