Opportunity to work with a strong team of Language Arts teachers committed to bringing out the best in their students. The ideal candidate will be not only knowledgeable about content but will be dynamic and passionate in their instruction. They should be committed to learning via reading, writing and discourse. Interested candidates work well within a PLC team, providing ideas and input for content and strategies to meet standards.
Candidates will be evalauated according to KCSD Teacher Evaluation Systemts and Supports using the four Danielson Domains:
1. Planning and Preparation
2. The Classroom Environment
3. Instruction
4. Professional Responsibilities
Primary Function: To plan, organize and implement an appropriate instructional program, as designated by the Klamath County School District, in a learning environment that guides and encourages students to develop and fulfill their academic potential.
Additional responsibilities and qualifications may be added for a specific position by the supervisor. Physical ability to adhere to OSHA and district safety regulations.

Position to begin in the 2025/2026 school year
COMPENSATION:
- 190 day contract
- Family medical, dental and vision insurance
- 6% PERS paid by District
- $49,907-91,207/Annual 2024/2025 school year (2025/2026 salary is dependent upon negotiations)
