By inspiring each other and fostering an inclusive, friendly environment that helps us thrive as individuals we create a unique and cooperative work sphere.We value diversity and inclusion and care for everybody that supports us with his and her skills.Find your future with us and join our team!What You DoInitially will lead the establishment and ramp-up of manufacturing at a large, high-volume, cutting-edge automotive manufacturing operation.As a part of the above, and on an ongoing basis will also : Establish strong team member relations, at all levels and provide support for people development, coaching and mentoring with a focus on teamwork and inclusionCollaborate with international team members from Mazda and Toyota or, other customersManage daily follow up of offsite and onsite inventory activities (purchases and disbursements)Responsible for all parts inventory audits and reconciliationsCollaborate with Toyota Motor North America (TMNA) for SAP and related system application interactionsCreate obsolescence for general stores journal entries during month-end closeSupport tax audits and supply requested documentationResponsible for visualizing actual vs. budget condition for general stores transactionsCreate, sustain, and conduct Bill of Materials (BOM) analysis, revisions, and general cost accounting functionsSupport quarterly and monthly variance analysisPerform in capacity as Senior Staff Accountant with ability to support month-end close additional journal entries as requiredSupport production shops in establishing standard work instructions for direct raw material inventory managementSupport establishing the foundation of accounting and finance department such as support setting policy, creating templatesCreate standardized work and manuals for the operation and job aboveAbility to work outside of typical business hours and travel as needed (domestically and internationally)What You BringHigh School Diploma or GEDFamiliarity with Major Enterprise Resource Program (ERP) Systems, such as SAP, Oracle, JD Edwards, or PeopleSoft FinancialsProficiency with Microsoft Office Suite of Products (Excel)Good communication skillsAttention to detail and accuracyWhat Will Set You Apart2 years' experience in manufacturing / cost accounting and / or asset management modulesBachelor's degree or higher in Accounting or Finance 5 years accounting experience1-5 years' experience in manufacturing / cost accounting and / or asset management modulesExperience and knowledge of accounting regulationsWhat We OfferAt Mazda Toyota Manufacturing USA Inc., we offer the opportunity to end each day with a smile and a sense of pride in the work that you do.
