The Drug Metabolism and Pharmacokinetics (DMPK) team at Maze Therapeutics is seeking a qualified and highly motivated Scientist I to join us in advancing our therapeutic programs. In this lab-based role, you’ll apply your expertise in LC-MS / MS (QQQ) and / or LC-HRMS (Orbitrap) to measure concentrations of small molecules, analyze PK data, and generate reports that support our drug discovery efforts. You will work closely with the lead Scientist in the PK group and collaborate across multiple projects to ensure high-quality, timely data delivery. Your Impact :
- Prepare and process samples (plasma, blood, and tissues) for PK and / or biomarker analyses.
- Collaborate with colleagues to coordinate acquisition of test articles, study schedules, and sample management.
- Measure analyte concentrations using LC-MS, including developing and troubleshooting methods.
- Process bioanalytical data to calculate PK parameters and generate detailed PK reports.
- Partner with scientists to upload PK data into our electronic database.
- Review and QC PK data and reports from CROs or internal teams.
- Support regulatory submissions.
- Maintain thorough, organized records in electronic laboratory notebook.

Our Core Values
The expected annual salary range for employees located in the San Francisco Bay Area is $131,000 - $160,000. Additionally, this position is eligible for an annual performance bonus. Maze performs position-based compensation benchmarking to industry market data to ensure we pay competitive wages. Determination of starting salary will depend upon a variety of job-related factors, which may include professional experience, skills, and job location. The expected salary range for this role may be modified in the future.
