Demand Planning Manager

Brief Description

The Demand Planning Manager is responsible for leading our growing planning and scheduling infrastructure within our Fulfillment Team. This role will drive decision making at the front end of the order and scheduling processes to help us scale this department to support the future growth of the company.

Requirements

Job Duties:

• Responsible for overseeing the day-to-day production planning and scheduling of manufactured products for customer orders
• Serve as the gateway for all manufactured order lines
• Oversee and direct the product demand planners
• Analyze staffing requirements and ensure capacity to meet requirements
• Utilize NetSuite and technology to automate planning and fulfillment strategies that align with our business strategy
• Collaborate with COEs Managers, Demand Buyers and Branch Managers to ensure resource availability to meet KPIs
• Develop KPIs for manufactured items and fulfillment of those order lines
• Collaborate with Supply Chain / Demand Buyers and Expeditors to ensure availability to meet production requirements
• Provide Data and Information as required to COEs and Branch locations
• Develop KPIs for Production Planning
• Responsible for working with COEs and Branches to expedite items needed for customer orders
• Embrace an environment conducive to continuous improvement
• Responsible to promote a safety culture in the workplace
• Promote an organized workplace and workflow culture
• Adhere to Company policies
• Maintain work area, equipment, and tools in a clean and organized manner; follow all Safety Guidelines

Education

• A high school diploma or GED is required; an undergraduate degree from an accredited college or university in a related discipline. In the absence of a degree, directly related job experience serving in a similar role, where a number of years and proven knowledge may offset the degree requirement.

• Excellent working knowledge of NetSuite ERP software
• High level sense of urgency

• Develops workable implementation plans and communicates changes effectively

• Excellent verbal and written communication skills

• Must be detail oriented, self-motivated, and disciplined with the ability to multi-task
• Working knowledge of Microsoft Office
• Flexible to work additional hours as required to meet project deadlines
