Requirements
Job Duties:
- Responsible for overseeing the day-to-day distribution planning and expediting of distributed products
- Serve as the gateway for all distributed order lines
- Oversee and direct the regional expeditors
- Analyze staffing requirements and ensure capacity to meet requirements
- Utilize NetSuite and technology to automate planning and fulfillment strategies that align with our business strategy
- Collaborate with Distribution Center Managers and Branch Managers to ensure resource availability to meet KPIs
- Collaborate with Distribution Center Managers and Branch Managers to expedite customer orders
- Develop KPIs for distributed items and fulfillment of those order lines with the goal of In By 2, Out Same Day
- Collaborate with Supply Chain / Demand Buyers and Expeditors to ensure availability to meet OTD
- Provide Data and Information as required to DCs, COEs and Branch locations
- Embrace an environment conducive to continuous improvement
- Responsible to promote a safety culture in the workplace
- Promote an organized workplace and workflow culture
- Adhere to Company policies
- Maintain work area, equipment, and tools in a clean and organized manner; follow all Safety Guidelines
- Other duties as assigned
- A high school diploma or GED is required; an undergraduate degree from an accredited college or university in a related discipline. In the absence of a degree, directly related job experience serving in a similar role, where a number of years and proven knowledge may offset the degree requirement.
- Excellent working knowledge of NetSuite ERP software
