Graphic Designer
The Graphic Designer assists in executing Marketing communications strategies with a strong emphasis on educating internal stakeholders about company initiatives, processes, updates, and safety. In this role, you will design / coordinate Marketing communications that involve a combination of graphic design, illustrations, presentations, social media, print, promotional items, and mailing. The Graphic Designer position requires independent brainstorming of ideas which align with the company's strategic vision and devising plans to execute these ideas.
Added to this role, this position will be responsible for vinyl graphic production and installation, which includes printing, prepping, and installing graphics for various product lines and business units. Training on equipment will be provided.
This position will be part of an “A-Team” that includes Marketing, Human Resources, Lifelong Learning, business unit leaders, Sales, and technical product specialists to create visual solutions that help solve business challenges. The Marketing Department serves as an internal agency and interacts with a wide variety of team members. You must be able to take / utilize feedback from stakeholders.
Graphic Designer Responsibilities
A degree in Graphic Design, Marketing or related discipline is preferred. A minimum two years of experience is required for this position. In the absence of a degree, directly-related job experience serving in a creative, marketing, or freelance role, where proven experience may offset the degree requirement.

Graphic Designer Responsibilities
- Follow brand guidelines to develop graphics and meet deliverable deadlines
- Illustrate concepts by designing rough layout of art and copy regarding arrangement, size, type size and style, and related aesthetic concepts
- Manage and prioritize multiple projects with a sense of urgency across print and digital mediums
- Develop social media graphics that drive recruitment and prospect engagement
- Assist with graphic needs for internal customers, special events, job fairs, projects, mailings, vinyl production and installation, etc
- Assist with graphic needs related to internal digital platforms, including the careers website and intranet
- Create graphics and visuals used for proposals, sales collateral, and presentation materials
- Obtain approval of concepts by submitting rough layouts, then provide final art to stakeholders and vendors
- Build and maintain Marketing vendor relationships
- Assist Director of Marketing with company promotional needs
- Remain current on content, digital platforms, and trends
- Ability to effectively navigate within a complex organization
- Other duties as assigned
