Requirements
Job Duties
- Establish Counts of all materials in manner consistent with organizational goals
- Review and correct daily cycle counts using the WMS system
- Assign and designate individuals for cycle counting
- Timely response to Cycle Count requests to ensure daily production needs
- Ensure inventory organization is in place to accurately identify materials and count in an efficient manner.
- Establish a schedule of daily counts
- Compare system quantities/valuations to actual counts.
- Using NetSuite and other supporting documentation, determine accurate inventory levels, and causes for errors in inventory accuracy.
- Record adjustments in inventory quantities, with approval of supervisor as needed to ensure an accurate reflection of inventory stated values.
- Train and develop other personnel in conducting and investigating discrepant inventory levels
- Maintain log of inventory counts, dollar variation and item variation, including graphs and reports weekly.
- Monthly reporting of Cycle Count results
- Leading processes for continuous improvement regarding inventory accuracy.
A high school diploma or GED preferred, trade school or military experience a plus.
Experience & Skills
- At least 1 years’ experience in coordinating a cycle count program for a manufacturing operation or a related area strongly preferred
- Experience with MRP and WMS systems preferred
- Requires solid written and verbal communication skills
- Strong analytical, conceptual and planning skills are required
- Excellent math skills and overall PC literacy (Microsoft Office 10) are required
- Must be detail oriented, self-motivated and disciplined with the ability to handle multiple tasks
- Must successfully complete a criminal background check, physical, drug screen and E-verify
