Job Description: The Marketing Coordinator is responsible for supporting company initiatives, while implementing new marketing initiatives and assuring the marketing standards are in place for Mazzone Hospitality. Under the direction of the Marketing Manager or Marketing Director this position will coordinate, support and communicate projects at a local level while being overseen by the Marketing Director. You will be liaising between our catering/events division, restaurants, as well as the managed services division.
Job Duties:
o Assists in all marketing, advertising and promotional activities.
o Assists in the development and implementation of marketing plans and projects for the Mazzone Hospitality brand.
o Manages the productivity of social media, and website maintenance.
o Content creation/community management for Facebook and Instagram pages for Hall of Springs, Saratoga National Events, Glen Sanders Mansion, Loft 433, Mazzone Hospitality, 1863 Club, Kenmore Ballroom, Prime Restaurant and other accounts as assigned.
o Update company newsletter and distribute
o Manage marketing materials inventory
o Assists in updating all food and beverage menus for company.
o Work alongside event sales managers to assist with providing collateral.
o Manage preferred vendor relationships with preferred customers
o Monitors industry best practices and trends
o Graphic Design – print and digital ads, menus, event signage, internal documents and email marketing
o Keep wedding accounts up to date: PartySlate and WeddingPro
o Manage Mazzone Hospitality’s LinkedIn
o Create and run ads on various social media platforms
o Track and report analytics for both organic and paid social media efforts and the Mazzone Hospitality website
o Work with photographers to get new event photos for fresh content
o Take or organize BTS content of photos/videos of events as needed
Skills/ Requirements:
· Bachelor’s Degree in Marketing or relevant experience
· Strong presence in Social Media Content and Video Editing
· Strong interpersonal, communication and influencing skills that establish and maintain business relationships.
· Proven problem solver and independent thinker with ability to multi-task and prioritize.
· Ability to effectively manage conflict and resistance.
· Proactive approach to work, and displays ambitious, positive attitude.
· Strong organizational skills, excellent attentiveness to detail
· Strong working knowledge of Excel, Word, Power Point, and Adobe Suite
· Must have reliable transportation
