Position: Inside Sales Representative
Location: Brewster
Mazzotta Rentals, Inc. (MRI) is seeking an Inside Sales Representative to assist with identifying potential customers, managing inbound and outbound sales activities, and providing product knowledge to customers to achieve sales goals. The role involves building customer relationships, responding to inquiries, and maintaining accurate records of all interactions. The Inside Sales Representative collaborates closely with the sales and operations teams to ensure customer satisfaction and business growth. The ideal candidate will be dependable, detail-oriented, and excel in a team environment.
Responsibilities
- Respond to inbound inquiries, provide product and service information, and expert advice and support.
- Identify potential leads and reach out to prospective customers through calls, emails, and other channels.
- Process customer orders and prepare quotes.
- Manage customer accounts, ensuring a high level of service and satisfaction.
- Track and maintain accurate records of customer interactions and sales activities.
- Assist with pricing negotiations and provide support in closing sales.
- Collaborate with outside sales representatives, customer service, and operations teams to coordinate orders and deliveries.
- Provide after-sales support, troubleshoot issues, and address customer complaints.
- Meet or exceed monthly sales quotas and performance metrics.
- Stay informed on product knowledge, industry trends, and competitor offerings to effectively communicate product benefits to customers.
- Cultivate existing customer relationships to ensure complete customer satisfaction, customer retention, and gather feedback for service improvement.
- Conduct touch base meetings with branch managers and service managers to discuss upcoming equipment needs and collaborate to resolve issues.
Qualifications
Requirements
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Strong organizational skills and the ability to multitask effectively.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook), and other relevant tools.
- Self-motivated, results-oriented, and capable of working independently as well as part of a team.
- Ability to learn and effectively communicate technical product details.
- Excellent phone etiquette and customer service expertise.
- Strong planning, problem solving, and negotiation ability.
- Highly organized with impeccable attention to detail.
- Knowledge of construction terminology is a plus.
- Reaching, bending, squatting, and lifting 50 pounds or more.
- High school diploma required.
- Preferred Education: Bachelor’s degree in related field.
- Preferred Experience: 1-5 years’ experience in inside sales within the equipment rental or similar industry.
Salary
60,000 - 68,000 annually commensurate with experience and industry knowledge. Health, dental, vision, and life insurance options. Retirement savings 401K plan and company match. Paid time off and holidays.
