What are the responsibilities and job description for the Live-in Caregiver position at MB Home Care LLC?
We are seeking an In Home Caregiver to become a part of our team! You will provide routine healthcare to patients at the patient's home.
This position is for a male client who is returning from rehab due to spinal surgery. He will be in a reclining chair and need assistance getting into his wheelchair and/or to his walker to use the bathroom, someone to get him food or drink, assist with bathing and dressing, etc. Must be able to lift/assist with transfers. Willing to split the week with two caregivers.
Responsibilities:
- Must be able to lift client, approximately 220 pounds, with some assistance from client.
- Assist patient getting to and from the bathroom.
- Assist patient with transferring from reclining chair to wheelchair/walker.
- Meal prep as needed
- Assistance with ADLs
- Ensure patient is comfortable.
- Provide routine individualized care
- Monitor and report changes in patient health status
- Safety Monitoring
Qualifications:
- Reliability a must
- Experience in home health or other related field
- Positive and patient demeanor
- Ability to build rapport with patients
- Ability to handle physical workload
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $175.00 - $190.00 per day
Schedule:
- Every weekend
- Monday to Friday
