Mo' Bettahs is a Utah-based company founded by brothers Kalani and Kimo Mack in 2008. A DAY IN THE LIFE
A typical day as a Director of Operations at Mo' Bettahs is fast-paced and upbeat! You will mentor & lead five to six District Managers each in various locations. You will wear many different hats, but your primary responsibilities oversee the development of the Mo' Bettahs brand daily. You will be the point of contact for all District Managers in your designated Market. Top-performing DOs will connect with DMs with a smile and help them take advantage of the many growth opportunities at Mo' Bettahs. The Director of Operations reports directly to the VP of Operations. The DO will handle operations while building and executing a strategic plan with DMs to deliver same-store sales growth, improve the guest experience, and instill a culture of positivity and growth.
QUALIFICATIONS
2 years of restaurant multi-unit experience
Strong leadership skills and experience mentoring a team
Proven record of accomplishment of developing people and growing sales as a multi-unit leader
Strong understanding of restaurant operations and financial performance
Enthusiastic, positive, and driven
Enjoy a fast-paced environment.
Adaptable to new processes and systems
Plan and set priorities to achieve business goals and objectives
Supports positive Guest Satisfaction through close interaction with restaurant leadership teams, ensuring that tools are used, and action plans are followed to deliver a best-in-class experience in all areas of guest interactions, including order accuracy, food quality, and friendliness.
Responsible for protecting brand standards in areas such as food safety, restaurant cleanliness, and repairs & maintenance by routinely advising leadership teams on areas of opportunity and strategies for maintaining excellence
Responsible for monitoring usage of mandated equipment and adopting technology to ensure delivery of better, more consistent products to guests while improving store profitability.
Works with the leadership team to diagnose performance barriers and assist with developing business plans to maximize improvement (operations, marketing, training, Commercial Manufacturing (Kitchen), etc.)
Strong understanding of P & L statements, budgeting, controllable and cash flow
***Must live in the Dallas, Texas area.***
WORKING CONDITIONS
Position requires qualified individuals to see, hear and speak (verbally and audibly). Required to ascend and descend stairs; sit and stand for extended periods of time, lift up to 30 pounds, bend, stoop and kneel. May be required to work outside in various weather conditions. May be required to work on a computer for extended periods of time, including viewing the screen, using a mouse, manipulating a keyboard with hands, and reaching with arms. May be asked to drive or travel by car, air, or other transportation for business purposes. Must be able to function effectively in a fast-paced working environment. Must be able to report to work responsive, free from sedatives, and in a non-sedative state. Must disclose prescribed and/or over-the-counter pharmaceuticals that may impair or affect the ability to perform the job's essential functions. Natural and regular stressors occur on the job.
