About us
Position Summary: Managing Yard Attendants and Warehouse employees. Experienced using forklifts and other material handling equipment. Supervises the unloads, loads, stores and retrieves crates and tractors, lawn and garden equipment and other commercial equipment for transport or assembly. Organizes large components stored in external or internal locations.
Essential Functions:
1. Supervises yard and Warehouse employees.
2. Manages onsite inventory.
3. Unload incoming freight, check bills of lading, ID band and stock units for later retrieval using material handling equipment including forklifts and jacks.
4. Load outgoing trailers for delivery of units and accessories to customers and other MB locations according to manifest and verbal or written instructions using material handling equipment.
5. Rotates stock in yard storage and internal storage locations to achieve FIFO stock rotation.
6. Retrieves and delivers stock for assembly by Set-up Mechanics according to “Floor Plan” rotation schedule.
Other Functions:
1. Operates equipment in safe manner. Observes all safety rules.
2. Assists in keeping yard clear of snow and ice and other debris.
3. Completes all required paperwork and time recording.
4. Other related duties as assigned.
Minimum Job Requirements:
Education: Associates Degree
Experience: Supervisor experience
Specific Skills: Safe operation of material handling equipment
Specialized Knowledge, Licenses: Forklift Training, receiving procedures
Working Conditions: Interior service bay work involving lifting and moving objects with or without assistance. Exterior stock retrieval and load/unload in all weather conditions.
