Applications Systems Analyst
Responsibilities
- Reviews, analyzes, and modifies programming systems including encoding, testing, debugging and installing to support an organization's application systems
- Troubleshooting technical issues
- Supports and/or installs software applications/operating systems
- Provides technical support to project team members
- Resolving network issues
- May be expected to write documentation to describe program development, logic, coding, and corrections
- Writes manuals for users to describe installation and operating procedures
- Talking customers through a series of actions to resolve a problem
- Replacing or repairing the necessary parts
- Testing and evaluating new technologies
- Typically reports to the team lead of the development group
Basic Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree, preferably in area of specialty
- 5 years of experience in the field or in a related area
- Must be familiar with Microsoft Windows (server) system
- Must be familiar with Microsoft Office Tools
- Must be familiar with computer periphery installation, such as printer, scanner, network etc.
- To be able to demonstrate the system developed by development team
- Quick learner of new environment and system
- Ability to obtain and maintain a Public Trust clearance
Preferred Qualifications
- Knowledge of Oracle database and SQL commands
- Knowledge of Kiosk design
- Knowledge of computer hardware and software design
