Job Description
We are looking for a highly skilled professional to manage the development of USPS facilities' deferred maintenance backlog of Capital, Repair and Alterations projects. This role involves conducting detailed building inspections, estimating repair costs, and ensuring the accuracy of facility condition data.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain a facility inspection schedule that aligns with USPS Facility Services Organization objectives.
- Prepare for inspections by gathering necessary data and coordinating logistics.
- Conduct comprehensive building inspections following USPS-provided standards.
- Calculate Current Replacement Values (CRV) for facilities.
- Create Rough Order of Magnitude (ROM) cost estimates to address identified deficiencies.
- Compile, validate, and update Facility Condition Index (FCI) data.
- Upload inspection reports and supporting documentation, including photographs, into the USPS Infrastructure Condition Assessment Module (ICAM).
- Perform QA/QC reviews of self-assessments conducted by Plant and Small Facility teams.
- Travel to USPS facilities within the assigned region to conduct on-site inspections.
The ideal candidate will be highly organized, detail-oriented, and comfortable with extensive travel within the assigned region.
