Position Overview:
We are seeking a highly organized and experienced Project Manager/Estimator to join our team. The ideal candidate will play a critical role in overseeing construction projects from pre-construction through close-out, including estimating, subcontractor coordination, scheduling, and client communication. Prior experience using Buildertrend is highly recommended, as it is the primary platform we use to manage our projects and client interface.
Key Responsibilities:
- Prepare detailed cost estimates for residential and commercial construction projects
- Coordinate with subcontractors and vendors to obtain pricing and ensure accurate bid proposals
- Develop and manage project schedules, budgets, and timelines
- Communicate effectively with clients, subcontractors, suppliers, and internal team members
- Utilize Buildertrend to manage project documentation, scheduling, communication, and progress tracking
- Conduct site visits to monitor project progress and ensure quality and safety standards
- Identify and resolve issues quickly to keep projects on track and within budget
- Prepare and issue contracts and change orders as needed
Qualifications:
- 3 years of experience in residential or light commercial construction project management and/or estimating
- Strong understanding of construction processes, materials, and subcontractor coordination
- Proficiency in Buildertrend is highly recommended
- Ability to read and interpret construction drawings and specifications
- Excellent communication, organization, and time-management skills
- Self-motivated, detail-oriented, and solution-driven
- Proficient in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook); experience with other estimating or project management software is a plus
- Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation
Compensation & Benefits:
MBA Contracting LLC offers a competitive compensation package designed to reward performance and support your day-to-day needs:
- Base salary: $60,000 – $70,000 annually, based on experience and qualifications
- Quarterly performance bonus: Up to $2,500 per quarter ($10,000 annual potential), based on project profitability, timeliness, and quality
