Job Summary
Seeking a full-time curriculum and assessment writer to develop business-focused instructional materials. Successful candidate must be detail-oriented, creative, focused, and able to quickly build expertise in potentially unfamiliar topics; new materials are developed on a daily basis.
- Develop/Revise engaging and effective business-focused instructional materials (e.g., course guides, lesson modules, assessments, activities, discussion guides) for high schools, middle schools, and community/technical colleges.
- Conduct secondary research on assigned business topics and synthesize findings.
- Verify existing curricular content is relevant, accurate, and current.
- Contribute to team effort by accomplishing related results as needed.
Required Qualifications:
- Exceptional written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills
- Strong research and decision-making skills
- Ability to work independently and within a team environment
- Ability to synthesize and communicate complex ideas
- Skilled in Microsoft 365 (e.g., OneDrive, SharePoint, Word, PowerPoint, Teams)
- Ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines while maintaining accuracy
- COVID-19 vaccine required for employment
Preferred Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree, or equivalent combination of education, training, and experience
- Knowledge of business concepts or an education background is a plus.
Schedule:
Monday to Friday during typical business hours. This is a full-time hybrid position. You will be expected to work at least 60% of your time each week in our Columbus, OH office.
