The Solventless Extraction / Hash Washing Technician at MBAF is responsible for the efficient and hygienic production of high-quality hash and rosin products. This role involves operating and maintaining equipment, preparing materials for extraction, and ensuring that all procedures comply with regulatory standards. The technician will work closely with the lead washer and other team members to achieve production goals while maintaining a clean and safe work environment.

Qualifications:
- Available M-F 4:00 pm - 12:30 am
- Previous experience as an extraction technician is preferred but not required.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining high-quality standards.
- Proficiency in basic math calculations (addition, subtraction, multiplication, division).
- Strong teamwork skills, self-motivation, and goal orientation.
- Physical ability to lift up to 50 pounds continuously throughout the workday.
- Willingness to work in a damp, 40-degree room for the majority of an 8-hour day.
- Flexibility to occasionally work longer than 8 hours if needed.
- Experience in cannabis extraction, chemical extraction, oil & gas field, or as an analyzer technician is preferred.
Job Responsibilities
- Set up and break down/clean the wash room at the beginning and end of each day.
- Clean wash bags after each collection to maintain hygiene standards.
- Assist the lead washer with the start and finish of each wash, typically handling six collections per wash and completing two washes per day.
- Prepare hash for pressing throughout the workday.
- Operate rosin press machines, pressing and collecting rosin for various uses including grams, carts, and food-grade products.
- Maintain cleanliness in all work areas, including the wash room, freeze dryer room, press room, and related areas.
- Adhere to all applicable city, state, and Cannabis Regulatory Agency laws and regulations.
- Wear proper PPE and follow general lab safety guidelines.

Successful candidates will enjoy critical thinking and utilize time management for success
Position will require sitting, standing, crouching, lifting of equipment sections of 30 lbs but occasionally upwards of 90lbs. All reasonable accommodations that can be made will, but this position does require dexterity and equipment assembly.
