Lab Technician Seeking an experienced laboratory technician to assist at our production lab. This role will consist of operating a falling film evaporator, production chromatography, wiped film distillation and various lab duties. Qualifications : Ideal candidates should have an interest in chemistry and improving themselves professionally. Ideal candidates should be able to work weekends and extended hours occasionally to meet production orders Ideal candidates should have at least 2 years work experience in a relatable industry Job Responsibilities Operation of chromatography equipment and as needed adjustments to maintain separation of compounds with different feedstocks. Maintain daily ops logs for equipment and conduct evaluations of processing equipment for chemical inventories and production management. Complete reports from laboratory journals including pertinent data and observations from various processes Assemble and disassemble reactors / equipment according to desired reaction conditions and monitor conditions as directed by management. Prepare reagents and prep ingredients for reactions and dispose of chemical waste accordingly. Operate synthesis reactions and monitor reaction levels. Assist laboratory manager with research and development of new production and analytical methods
Job Requirement : Successful candidates will enjoy critical thinking and utilize time management for success Position will require sitting, standing, crouching, lifting of equipment sections of 30 lbs but occasionally upwards of 90lbs. All reasonable accommodations that can be made will, but this position does require dexterity and equipment assembly.
