Position Overview :
As an Associate Veterinarian, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality medical care to animals under the guidance of our experienced team of veterinarians. You will have the opportunity to work with a variety of small and large animals, including dogs, cats, and livestock. This is a full-time, permanent position that offers a competitive salary and benefits package.
Key Responsibilities :
- Conduct thorough physical examinations and diagnose and treat medical conditions in animals
- Perform routine and emergency surgeries, including spays, neuters, and soft tissue surgeries
- Prescribe and administer medications and treatments as needed
- Communicate with pet owners about their animal's health and provide recommendations for ongoing care
- Qualifications :
- Doctor of Veterinary Medicine (DVM) degree from an accredited veterinary school
- Active state veterinary license
- Strong diagnostic and surgical skills
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work well in a team environment
- Compassionate and dedicated to providing the best care for animals
