HR Business Partner
Our client is a prominent law firm located in center city Philadelphia, PA, specializing in Workers' Compensation and Social Security disability law. They are committed to providing exceptional service and positively impacting their clients' lives.
Summary :
We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced HR Business Partner to join our team on a 24-hour part-time or full-time 30-hour basis. In this newly created role, the successful candidate will be responsible for providing strategic HR support and guidance to meet business objectives, through effective people management practices.
Key Responsibilities :
- Collaborate with key stakeholders to understand the business objectives and serve as the trusted HR advisor to uphold, develop, and implement HR strategies that align with goals
- Keep up-to-date with HR best practices and ensure compliance with all federal, state, and local employment laws and regulations
- Conduct needs assessments and develop HR solutions to manage and deliver report development of HR Metrics and HR budgets
- Implement HR policies, procedures, and programs such as HRIS systems, records management, benefits administration, employee handbook updates
- Advise and coach managers on employee relations issues, performance management, and employee development
- Conduct investigations and guide disciplinary actions as needed
- Support recruitment efforts by developing job descriptions, sourcing candidates, and participating in interviews
- Assist with onboarding and orientation of new employees
- Conduct training and development programs for managers and employees
- Collaborate with the firm's leadership team to continuously improve and enhance our services to continue to be an employer of choice

This is a part-time position, with a commitment of 24 (hourly) or 30 hours (salary with benefits!) per week. The schedule can be flexible, with the option to work 3 or 4 days weekly in the office that is located near center city. Plenty of transportation options to the office!
