Position Summary
This is an unpaid Internship program for graduate students who are fulfilling the academic requirements of a licensure-track Master’s degree in Mental Health Counseling, Counseling Psychology, or equivalent. MassBay’s Internship program fulfills the requirement for pre-Master’s clinical experience and supervision for the LMHC license in Massachusetts.

Key Responsibilities and Duties
Provide clinical mental health assessment, treatment, crisis intervention, and referrals for student-clients;
Document confidential student-client information in an electronic health record;
Participate in campus outreach, educational programming, and screenings;
Provide consultation to faculty, staff, and parents on student mental health needs;
Attend and contribute to individual supervision meetings, weekly team/group supervision meetings, and peer supervision meetings;
A supervisor may assign other duties as required to meet the needs and foster the mission of the College.
