What are the responsibilities and job description for the Full-Time Faculty for Health Studies (Tenure-Track) position at mbcc-mass?

Key Responsibilities and Duties
The full-time faculty must be able
to:
Maintain
a full-time workload (equivalent of 15 credit hours per term) which may
include teaching in the Health Studies Programs to include classroom,
clinical, laboratory courses, and simulation-based courses.
Prepare syllabi and develop curricula for lectures,
laboratory, and simulation settings to address course and program student
learning outcomes and Graduation Competencies, as appropriate.
Teach effectively in a
traditional, hybrid, and/or online environment.
Teach Early College and/or
dual enrollment high school students in area high schools, including but
not limited to Framingham, Millis, Waltham, and/or Milford, or at our
Framingham MassBay campus.
Provide instruction during
high school hours of operation when necessary.
Support the Early
college/dual enrollment needs via communication and reporting between high
school & college representatives.
Serve as an academic
advisor to students and maintain office hours.
Participate in College, Division, and Program governance including attending Division, Department, Advisory Committee, and other committee meetings.
Participate
in the assessment of course and program learning outcomes.
Maintain a safe environment during skills training and evaluation sessions.
Use the College’s technology platforms to effectively communicate with students and colleagues to enhance the learning, as appropriate.
Engage in professional development activities to maintain excellence and expertise in classroom/ clinical/simulation teaching.
Maintain appropriate paperwork and documentation required by the program and accreditation agencies.

Stay current with professional development activities on their own time.
Exhibit current experience and relevancy in the healthcare environment being taught.
Carry out other related duties as assigned by the Dean/Assistant Dean of Health Sciences consistent with the Collective Bargaining Agreements.
