What are the responsibilities and job description for the Administrative Support position at MBE CPAs?
What's the role?
We are seeking a team member to join through 4/15 to provide administrative assistance to internal team members and clients by collecting, processing, and preparing documents for tax returns and other projects. This includes:
- Providing administrative support including organizing, scanning, filing, assembling, and delivering paperwork for clients.
- Maintain accurate client records and update systems accordingly with changes.
- Support workflow of projects including submitting tax returns, extensions, e-filings, tracking due dates, and delivering on sensitive deadlines.
- Assisting clients with requested information, delivery of documents and payments, and general inquiries.
- Assist with the preparation of paperwork and delivery of tax returns to clients.
- Assisting other administrative team members with tasks including acting as backup for front desk receptionist.
What experience and skills do I need to be successful?
- Comfortable working daily on computers and in Microsoft Office products including Excel, Word, and Outlook.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
- Ability to provide the utmost confidentiality for client and company data.
- Previous experience in a related document manager or administrative support role is highly desired.
What will my schedule look like?
This role supports our office hours of Monday-Friday 8a-5p. The start date is immediate and the role ends when tax season wraps up 4/15. For the right candidate and skillset, there is potential for full-time position after April. The role can work remotely, hybrid, or onsite from any of our 19 offices.
