Work Schedule: On an as-needed basis, PRN
Responsibilities:
- Patient care will include assessing vitals, supervising, and carrying out the plan of care set by the physical therapist and medical charting in accordance with the State Physical Therapy Assistant’s Practice Act and Statutes.
- Lift/fit testing will include the objective and unbiased assessment of a person’s ability to safely complete pre-determined tasks with proper mechanics.
- Administrative responsibilities will include patient and provider scheduling, copying, faxing, typing/computer use, and phone work.
- Medical record management will include insuring confidentiality under HIPAA law, insurance authorizations, and filing.
- Office maintenance and cleaning will include table surface disinfecting, laundry, exercise and modality equipment care, and supply inventory and stocking.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
Requirements:
- Certificate from an accredited PTA program.
- Valid physical therapy assistant license in good standing, or diploma to practice physical therapy in the State of Arizona.
- Current CPR certification.
Flexibility to provide coverage at our East Valley Clinics as needed.
