Pines of Sarasota Foundation, Sarasota, Florida seeks an inspiring President as its organization’s principal leader. The President understands the philanthropic landscape, building and deepening existing community relationships. The President is accountable to the Foundation Board, working in conjunction with members to set goals, the annual budget, the strategic vision, the mission, and organizational policies.

The President’s responsibilities include :

• Engaging, motivating, and managing the organization in meeting its strategic goals, while maintaining a culture of excellence.
• Promoting asset development and donor cultivation, engaging community outreach, including relationship development with other philanthropic groups.
• Providing fiduciary and financial oversight ensuring compliance with state and federal laws.
• Being cognizant of changing community needs, and current trends in non-profit philanthropy.

Qualifications should include a minimum of ten years of successful management as an executive, team leader, community relations, development, sales, and marketing. Board of Directors experience is essential. A college degree is required, with an advanced degree and CFRE preferred.
