MBL Technologies is seeking Cyber Project Manager to join our team. The individual will act as a primary stakeholder in the underlying information technology (IT) operational processes and functions that support the service, provide direction and monitor all significant activities so the service is successfully delivered.
*Note this is a proposed role.*
Responsibilities:
- Coordinate and manage the overall service provided to a customer end-to-end.
- Develop system, network, performance, and cybersecurity requirements.
- Ensure that appropriate Service-Level Agreements (SLAs) and underpinning contracts have been defined that clearly clearly set out for a customer description of the service and the measures for monitoring the service.
- Ensure that system, network, performance, and cybersecurity requirements are included in contract language and delivered.
- Gather feedback on customer satisfaction and internal service performances to foster continual improvements.
- Identify and address cybersecurity workforce planning and management issues.
- Lead and oversee budget, staffing, and contractual performance of project work.
- Manage the internal relationships information technology (IT) process owners supporting the project, assisting with the definition and agreement of Operating Level Agreements (OLAs).
- Perform needs analysis to determine opportunities for new and improved business solutions.
- Provide advice on project costs, design concepts, and design changes.
- work with service managers and product owners to balance and prioritize services to meet overall customer requirements, constraints, and objectives.
- Conduct import/export reviews for acquiring systems and software.
- Develop methods to monitor and measure risk, compliance, and assurance efforts related to specific projects.
- Ensure all acquisitions, procurements, and outsourcing efforts address information security requirements consistent with organization goals.
- Provide ongoing optimization and problem solving support.
- Provide recommendations for possible improvements and upgrades to projects.
- Review service performance reports identifying any significant issues and variances, initiating, where necessary corrective actions, as well as following up on all outstanding issues.
- Evaluate the effectiveness of procurement function in addressing information security requirement through procurement activities and recommend improvements.
Required Knowledge/Skills /Experience
- Experience in identifying measures or indicators of system performance and the actions needed to improve or correct performance relative to goals of the system.
- Experience in translating, tracking, and prioritizing information needs and intelligence collection requirements related to the specific project.
- Knowledge of capabilities and requirements analysis.
- Knowledge of Cloud-based knowledge management technologies and concepts related to cybersecurity, governance, procurement, and administration.
- Knowledge of functionality, quality, and cybersecurity requirements and how it applies to specific parts of the processes.
- Knowledge of ho information needs and collection requirements are translated, tracked, and prioritized across the extended enterprise.
- Knowledge of how to leverage research and development centers, think tanks, academic research, and industry systems.
- Knowledge of import/export regulations related to cryptography and other cybersecurity technologies.
- Knowledge of information technology (IT) architectural concepts and frameworks.
- Knowledge of organizational process improvement concepts and process maturity models (e.g. Capability Maturity Model Integration (CMMI) for Development, CMMI for Services, and CMMI for Acquisitions.
- Knowledge of service management concepts for networks and related standards (e.g. Information Technology Infrastructure Library, current version, ITIL).
- Knowledge of Risk Management Framework (RMF) requirements and the risk management process.
- Knowledge of cybersecurity privacy laws, regulations, and guidelines at they relate to cybersecurity principles.
- Knowledge of specific operational impacts of cybersecurity lapses.
Qualifications:
- At least 7 years of relevant cybersecurity experience.
- At least 5 years of relevant experience supporting large scale cybersecurity projects.
- Project Manager Professional (PMP) certification (preferred).
- BS/BA degree in computer science, computer engineering, or other technical / cyber related field.
- Most be an US citizen with the ability to obtain a security clearance.
