Must have a valid Massachusetts Journeyman Electrician's License and demonstrated skill in the trade.
The successful candidate will be responsible for the following:
- Performing electrical work in all laboratory and housing buildings.
- Installing, testing, repairing, and maintaining electrical or electronic wiring, equipment, appliances, apparatus, and fixtures.
- Diagnosing malfunctioning systems using test equipment and hand tools.
- Collaborating with other Plant Operation and Maintenance staff to ensure seamless operations.
- Tracking costs for cost center allocation and maintaining electrical supplies in a neat and orderly fashion.
