We are a rapidly growing Medical Billing and Management company that is seeking an experienced Credentialing Coordinator to work fully remote.
The Credentialing Coordinators reviews practitioner's application, obtains verification of credentials to procure malpractice coverage and confirm that the candidates meet the criteria as established by our contracts with the facility where the practitioner (client) will be seeking privileges.
The Credentialing Coordinator must develop and maintain an excellent working relationship with the Medical Staff Offices / Clients of the contracts they are assigned and are responsible for assisting the Medical Staff Offices / Clients as requested.
Utilizes various websites, contacts educational facilities and professional references to verify credentials.
Must have working knowledge of CAQH and PECOS.
Job Responsibilities & Description :
- Coordinates, monitors and maintains the credentialing and re-credentialing process, ensuring that client medical staff files are complete.
- Obtains primary source verification of education, licensure, work experiences, etc., through the appropriate verification agencies.
- Responsible for the accuracy and integrity of the credentialing database system for client medical staff members and allied health practitioners.
- Maintains awareness and addresses all credentialing issues for assigned clients with short and long-term solutions.
