Job Overview:
The Warehouse Manager will be responsible for overseeing and managing the materials and inventory processes for MBO Companies. This position plays a critical role in ensuring materials are available for projects, warehouse space is optimized, and the purchasing and invoicing processes run efficiently. The ideal candidate will have strong leadership skills, excellent organizational abilities, and keen attention to detail in inventory management and procurement.
Key Responsibilities:
- Supervise and manage inventory levels to ensure availability of materials for projects without overstocking.
- Oversee and manage warehouse space, ensuring materials are stored efficiently and accessible.
- Collaborate with project managers to anticipate and procure materials needed for upcoming projects.
- Process and verify invoices for payment, ensuring accurate and timely processing.
- Maintain and update accurate records of materials, inventory levels, and vendor transactions.
- Review and assess vendor quotes to ensure competitive pricing and quality of materials.
- Ensure compliance with safety standards and company policies for inventory management and materials handling.
- Provide leadership and guidance to warehouse staff, ensuring efficient operations and high standards of performance.
Qualifications:
· High school diploma or equivalent required; associate or bachelor’s degree in business, logistics, or related field preferred.
· 3 years of experience in inventory management, warehouse operations, or materials procurement.
· Supervisory or leadership experience preferred.
· Proficiency in inventory management software and Microsoft Office Suite.
· Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
· Ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams, including project managers and vendors.
· Knowledge of best practices in material procurement and warehouse management.
· Ability to lift and move materials as required for inventory and warehouse management.
· Capable of operating Class 4 and Class 7 forklift. Training and certification will be provided.
Working Conditions:
- This position may require working in a warehouse environment with exposure to varying temperatures and noise levels.
- Occasional lifting and physical tasks are required as part of inventory management.
