Our client, a high-growth Telecoms software business supplying a wide portfolio of OSS / BSS / Digital Transformation solutions, is looking to expand its North American business and is seeking a highly motivated Sales Director to hunt for business with Telecoms Service Providers (Tier 1 and 2).
As a Sales Director, the successful candidate will prospect for new logo business using their existing Service Provider contacts, attend events, and execute outbound campaigning to build a pipeline of targeted accounts. The person must have a successful track record of delivering against sales targets and have longevity in previous roles.
The Role
- Attending trade shows and events
- Lead generation and development
- Solution selling
- Participate in or ideally lead functional presentations and workshops
- Commercial awareness, involvement in bid preparation
- Pipeline management and reporting
- Working with the Presales team to deliver software demonstrations
