Description
Reporting to the Chief Commercial Officer (CCO) the Regional Sales VP, NA is responsible for the building, and managing of a sales pipeline in the region and for converting pipeline into signed contracts. As part of achieving the above, the Regional Sales VP NA will define and execute strategies required to sustainably grow net new sales in existing and new accounts.
Skills Required:
A sales “hunter”, with specific experience in software sales, in the energy and utility markets; both direct sales, as well as indirect channels.
Results oriented.
Drive revenue growth, customer expansion and retention by refining and expanding go-to-market strategy, sales function, and account management.
Develop and implement revenue driving strategies, which create long-term customer and business value.
Good interpersonal, presentation, and communication skills.
Strong customer service orientation
Independent thinker, and ability to work independently
Self and group management skills
Minimum 10 years of relevant experience.
Solution-oriented analytical skills and the ability to recognize the demands on the side of the clients.
Minimum Qualifications:
10 years of strategic software sales experience to the electric utility and energy markets.
Demonstrated sales skills in complex deal development, financial structuring, negotiations, and closing with both new and existing clients.
Ability to mine, analyze and interpret data to make business decisions that will drive ongoing revenue growth.
Adept at transitioning seamlessly from a strategic level vision to day-to-day tactical commercial operations.
A demonstrated execution mindset and a proven successful track record
Extensive leadership and management skills.
Demonstrated ability to work with urgency and speed, while executing sound and thorough judgment.
Must be a self-motivated, hands-on executive who functions effectively in an entrepreneurial, high-energy team environment.
Bachelor’s degree required. MBA will be a benefit.
