MBS is hiring an Application Engineer in Mason, OH. This position is a full-time, direct hire opportunity.
FULL JOB DESCRIPTION
PRINCIPAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES
- Perform test cuts and machine demonstrations for aerospace type parts both structural and engine components.
- Provide applications engineering support to sales force by visiting customer facilities and assisting with potential machine and turnkey proposals.
- Setup, generate NC program, build tooling, prove-out, and complete test cut requests from sales inquiries leading to machine orders.
- Perform customer startup training and transfer of technical knowledge on newly sold equipment at the customer's facility.
- Teach and conduct technical transfer classes specifically focused on aerospace type components and application of high-speed machining techniques.
