MBS is hiring Machine Operator in Lebanon, OH. This position is a full-time, Direct Hire opportunity.
FULL JOB DESCRIPTION
PRINCIPAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES
- Accurately processes parts following blueprints and other written and verbal specifications, while meeting scheduled router hours.
- Sets up, adjusts, and efficiently operates machine tools to perform operations requiring close / exact tolerances on products with various dimensions and finish specifications.
- Selects, aligns, and secures holding fixtures, cutting tools, attachments, accessories, and materials into machine.
- Maintains and inspects cutting tools for sharpness and usability.
- Calculates and sets controls and programming to regulate machining factors such as speed, feed, and coolant flow.
- Starts and observes machine operations to detect malfunctions or out-of-tolerance processing and adjusts machine controls as required.
- Cleans and maintains machine tooling and parts to ensure that equipment is in optimal production condition.
- Maintains and edits programs to fine tune process for optimum performance.
- Maintains a safe and clean work area and environment.
- Performs other duties as needed.
