MBS is in urgent need of a Mainframe Dev - Microfocus COBOL and VSAM. This position is a remote full-time, temp to hire opportunity.
PRINCIPAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES
- Develop, maintain, and enhance mainframe applications using Microfocus COBOL and VSAM.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather and analyze business requirements.
- Design and implement efficient and scalable solutions to meet business needs.
- Perform code reviews and ensure adherence to best practices and coding standards.
- Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues in a timely manner.
- Create and maintain technical documentation.
- Provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior developers.
