MBS is in urgent need of a Testing QA Lead in Schaumburg, IL. This position is a full-time, temp to hire opportunity.
PRINCIPAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES
- Perform requirements analysis and author functional test cases.
- Execute test cases while understanding the testable software requirements.
- Apply knowledge in testing tools and automation testing.
- Recommend the scope of work for automation testing and ensure plans are in place to implement and execute automation test scripts.
- Execute and maintain automated scripts, troubleshoot and fix issues, and coordinate updates with Test Analysts as needed.
- Manage defect logging and reporting.
- Lead testing for client transformation initiatives and application portfolios.
- Manage test activities, communication, metrics, and status reporting, including identifying risks and escalating issues to the project team and / or client.
- Obtain approval from clients for all deliverables as per the defined acceptance criteria.
- Prepare test summary reports for each software release targeted for production.
- Coordinate work with onshore and offshore team members as needed.
