MBS is hiring a Welder in Dayton, KY. This position is a full-time, Direct Hire opportunity.
FULL JOB DESCRIPTION
PRINCIPAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES
- Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and welding specifications
- Set up and operate welding equipment, including Mig welders
- Weld components in various positions, using the Mig welding process
- Examine welds for defects and ensure that they meet quality standards
- Collaborate with team members to complete projects on time
- Follow all safety guidelines and regulations
- Repair and maintain welding equipment as needed
REQUIREMENTS
- Minimum of 2 years of experience as a Mig Welder
- Proficient in reading and interpreting blueprints and welding specifications
- Attention to detail and ability to produce high-quality welds
- Strong knowledge of welding processes, techniques, and equipment
- Certification in Mig Welding is preferred, but not required
- Physical stamina and ability to work in a fast-paced environment
- Ability to work independently or as part of a team
- Excellent problem-solving skills
