Job Summary:
MBS Professional Staffing is seeking a highly motivated and results-driven Production Supervisor to oversee daily production operations. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for effectively communicating work assignments, delegating workloads to line captains, and ensuring production runs are performed properly.
Responsibilities:
- Supervise employees in the filling and packaging of products
- Monitor the performance/efficiency of the filling equipment
- Work with production control supervisor to ensure production demands are met
- Schedule temporary workforce for all fill lines and provide demands to human resources
- Coordinate production runs with maintenance, blending, and warehouse departments
- Provide corrective action to production employees
- Prepare production paperwork for line captains prior to production run
- Attend production related meetings
- Responsible for the ongoing support of all manufacturing activities in the production area
- Enforce all safety regulations and Best Sanitizers' procedures and work instructions
Qualifications:
- 3-5 years manufacturing experience required
- cGMP experience (FDA) required
- 2-3 years supervisor experience preferred
- Bilingual in Spanish preferred
- Ability to interact and work with team members
- Ability to manage multiple projects
- Thorough documentation and written communication skills
- Must be able to work flexible hours to include overtime when needed
- Sound judgment and good decision-making skills
- Microsoft Office experience
