What are the responsibilities and job description for the Apartment Maintenance Technician - W.M. position at MBS Property Management, Inc.?
This is a full time position / 40-hours per week, Monday -Friday, 8am - 5pm. The salary is $19-$20 per hour depending on experience. This position includes a 2-bedroom apartment (utilities not included) as a part of the compensation package. Must live onsite after a 90-days introductory period.
We are looking to hire an experienced Maintenance Technician to help us keep growing and be dedicated to the continued success of a 40-unit affordable housing apartment community.
SKILLS AND ABILITIES REQUIRED:
- Practical experience in apartment maintenance, construction or related field
- General carpentry repairs using skill saws, miter saws, drills, measuring tape and other hand tools
- Light plumbing and light electrical experience
- Painting of interior and exterior of buildings
- Basic experience with locks and door hardware
- Some HVAC experience is preferred
- Ability to maintain excellent curb appeal of apartment community
- Ability to organize and maintain inventory supplies
- A High School diploma or equivalent, English language proficiency
- Must be able to pass a drug screening test and a full background check
- Must have a valid Calif. drivers license, insurance and updated vehicle registration

Pay: $20.00 - $21.00 per hour
