FDC Program Analyst
Job Summary:
This position is responsible for supporting BNED course materials inventory management initiatives, including the First Day Complete program, by partnering across MBS and BNED departments to support initiative goals. The role will assist the FDC Program Director and will work with BNED stakeholders to adapt and improve initiative performance and growth. This role will generate, adapt, assess, and distribute reports to stakeholders.
Responsibilities:
- Assists in the creation and distribution of initiative oversight reports, including daily status, ordering needs, expected backorder delivery dates, and inventory evaluations.
- Seeks out, develops, and implements process improvements with decision-making and oversight reporting tools to improve inventory management, customer communication, and program profitability; creates, publishes, and adapts daily status reporting based on recipient feedback; partners with MBS textbook management services andacquisitions team to oversee and communicate inventory status of program items.
- Responsible for the scheduling and management of timeline activities. Follows up on outstanding dates with stakeholders and provides status updates.
- Conducts analysis, problem-solves, and communicates obstacles to management; reports key functional metrics to improve program effectiveness.
- Participates in pre and post-season reviews with BNED leadership and helps formulate plans and create road maps with cross-functional teams to resolve issues.
- Serves as the liaison between BNED stakeholder teams. Facilitates communication between all parties.
- Under guidance from the Program Director, serves as a point of contact with BNED project management and developers; collaborates withthe MBS commerce team leadership to review and prioritize program development and reporting needs.
Qualifications:
- Excellent writing and verbal communication skills.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to learn MBS system tools and reporting resources and apply knowledge at a highly competent level to support MBS programs and services
- Must have experience with Microsoft Excel and Access. Experience in IBM Query and SQL is a plus.
- Knowledge of High Jump, MBS computer systems, warehouse operations, and database experience is helpful.
- Prioritizes activities and works on multiple assignments simultaneously; ability to follow through on tasks and goals
- 1-3 years experience in account management, project management, business analysis, or a highly related field; experience with warehouse operations is a plus.
