Position Overview: The Production Coordinator is responsible for analyzing the processes used to produce goods and using data and analytical tools to identify areas for improvement. The Production Coordinator provides administrative support to the production team, ensuring smooth operations and efficient management of resources. This role involves handling various administrative tasks, including timekeeping, inventory management, travel coordination, maintaining training records, assessing competency levels and maintaining accurate records.
Language Skills: English proficiency required. Spanish is a plus.
Supervisory Responsibilities: None.
Amount of Travel Involved: None.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
- Follow all safety procedures and work as safely as possible at all times.
- Prepares presentations for Production Management.
- Investigate production issues and problems relating to shortages, variances, or other impediments to smooth flow through the facilities.
- Document and study existing processes, and identifying areas for improvement.
- Assists Production Leadership with tracking competency/performance records on a monthly basis and uploading into ADP
- Comfortable with confidential information
- Recommend solutions to streamline operations and improve efficiency.
- Work closely with other departments such as engineering, logistics, and quality control.
- Generate production metrics and provide weekly and monthly reports on production analysis to senior management.
- Maintain a positive work atmosphere and interaction with customers, co-workers, and management.
- Learns and becomes proficient in company systems
- All other duties as assigned.
- Work scheduled shift, weekends, and extended hours as required.
- Regular and punctual attendance.

Education and/or Experience:
- High school diploma or equivalent required;
- 2 years of administrative or finance experience required;
- Experience in use and administration of timekeeping systems, UKG/Kronos preferred.
- Or equivalent combination of education and experience.
