Position Overview: The Production Materials Planner is responsible for the management of material inventory levels to ensure that raw material components and manufactured products are available when needed to satisfy the plant and customer requirements. Responsibilities include the planning and procurement of material components to minimize obsolescence and overstock situations while achieving maximum customer service levels. Assists with all aspects of production including ordering raw materials, scheduling trucks, managing PO’s, and other office administrative duties.
Language Skills: English proficiency required. Spanish is a plus.
Supervisory Responsibilities: None.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
- Follow all safety procedures and work as safe as possible at all times.
- Order all raw materials for production runs by creating and tracking Purchase Orders.
- Work closely with vendors to ensure all materials are delivered on time.
- Maintain Just in Time ordering for containers, base transfers from US Cold Storage for production runs.
- Schedule deliveries of raw materials.
- Input Purchase Orders and Manufacturing Orders into ILS system.
- Make order changes in the event of a schedule change.
- Maintain & distribute daily delivery schedule.
- Communicate with customers on all aspects of their schedule and orders.
- Order all raw materials for production runs by creating and tracking Purchase Orders.
- Work closely with vendors to ensure all materials are delivered on time.
- Maintain minimal remaining on hand inventory.
- Order bottles for all/some Anaheim lines.
- Work closely with Production Planning Manager on production schedule.
- Work closely with Inventory Control team on maintaining a proper level of raw material inventory and ensure FIFO.
- SAP system updates for Coca-Cola North America.
- Maintain a positive work atmosphere and interaction with customers, co-workers, and management.
- All other duties as assigned.
- Work scheduled shift, weekends, and extended hours as required.
- Regular and punctual attendance.
