Commodity Specialist

Job Summary:

We are seeking a detail-oriented Commodity Specialist to join our team. This role is essential in maintaining organized and efficient office operations while ensuring accurate management of commodities and financial data.

Key Responsibilities:

• Input commodities received into the accounting system.
• Maintain and monitor commodity contracts.
• Track and monitor feed charges.
• Manage accounts payable processes.
• Organize and maintain essential data and records.
• Communicate effectively with customers and vendors.
• Greet and assist guests in a professional manner.
• Answer and direct incoming phone calls.

Qualifications and Skills:

• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook, etc.).
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Basic understanding of feed yard operations is a plus.
• Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team.
• Strong problem-solving skills and initiative.
• Bachelor’s degree preferred, but not mandatory.
