Landscaper

Job Summary
We are seeking a reliable and skilled Landscape Technician to enhance the curb appeal and outdoor experience of our apartment community. This role involves maintaining the property’s landscaping to ensure a clean, inviting, and well-manicured environment for residents and visitors. The ideal candidate will have a passion for outdoor work, a keen eye for detail, and knowledge of landscape maintenance practices. You will work collaboratively with the maintenance team to uphold the aesthetic standards of the community.

Responsibilities

• Mow, trim, edge, and maintain lawns, ensuring a neat and tidy appearance throughout the property.
• Prepare soil and plant flowers, shrubs, and trees to enhance landscaping features.
• Perform regular upkeep tasks, including weeding, mulching, pruning, and fertilizing.
• Inspect and maintain irrigation systems, ensuring proper hydration of lawns and plantings.
• Operate and maintain landscaping tools and equipment safely, including mowers, trimmers, and blowers.
• Install and maintain decorative landscape elements, such as walkways or garden beds.
• Monitor plant health, addressing any issues with pests, diseases, or nutrient deficiencies.
• Collaborate with property management and maintenance teams to execute landscaping improvements and seasonal projects.

Requirements

• Previous experience in landscaping, groundskeeping, or a related field is preferred.
• Familiarity with operating and maintaining landscaping tools and mechanical equipment.
• Basic knowledge of plant care, irrigation, and landscape design practices.
• Physical ability to perform outdoor work in various weather conditions, including lifting, bending, and standing for long periods.
• Strong attention to detail and a commitment to delivering high-quality work.
• A valid driver’s license may be required for certain job duties.
• Ability to follow safety protocols and work effectively as part of a team.
