Content and Graphic Designer 

MC Machinery Systems, Inc. is seeking a Content and Graphic Designer to join our dynamic marketing team. This full-time role is ideal for a creative professional with a passion for storytelling, branding, and visual communication in the manufacturing and industrial technology sector.

As a key member of our marketing department, the Content and Graphic Designer will be responsible for creating engaging content across multiple platforms, including social media, websites, email campaigns, and print materials. This role involves designing compelling graphics, producing long and short-form videos, and developing strategic content plans that enhance our brand presence and support our sales initiatives. The ideal candidate has strong expertise in Adobe Creative Suite, video editing, and digital marketing trends, with the ability to balance multiple projects in a fast-paced environment.

Reporting to the Marketing Manager, this position offers the opportunity to shape the visual and digital identity of MC Machinery while collaborating with cross-functional teams, including sales and product specialists, to develop impactful marketing materials that drive engagement and business growth.

This position is on-site, Monday-Friday, with 25% travel.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Develop and execute strategic content plans that align with MC Machinery’s marketing objectives, industry trends, and brand identity.
  • Create high-quality graphics for digital and print materials, including social media posts, website assets, brochures, trade show displays, and email campaigns.
  • Produce and edit engaging video content for various platforms, showcasing MC Machinery’s products, events, and customer success stories.
  • Manage social media content, including Instagram, LinkedIn, Facebook, and YouTube, ensuring consistent branding and messaging.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to capture high-quality video and photography for marketing initiatives, product launches, and promotional campaigns.
  • Maintain brand consistency across all visual content, ensuring alignment with MC Machinery’s style guidelines, messaging, and marketing strategies.
  • Adapt designs and content for multiple formats, ensuring they are optimized for digital and print distribution.
  • Stay up to date with industry trends, emerging design tools, and best practices in digital marketing and graphic design.
  • Manage multiple projects simultaneously, meeting deadlines while maintaining high-quality creative output.
  • Work closely with the Marketing Manager to brainstorm and execute innovative content ideas that drive engagement and customer interaction.
  • Travel up to 25% for trade shows, customer visits, and content capture opportunities.
  • Other duties as assigned.

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS AND QUALIFICATIONS

  • Bachelor’s degree in graphic design, Marketing, Visual Communications, or a related field.
  • 2 years of experience as a Content Creator, Graphic Designer, or similar role, with a strong portfolio showcasing work across digital and print mediums.
  • Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign, Premiere Pro, and After Effects) and other industry-standard design and video editing tools.
  • Experience in video production, editing, and photography/videography, with the ability to create high-quality, engaging content for various marketing platforms.
  • Hands-on experience with social media content creation, including LinkedIn, Instagram, Facebook, YouTube and TikTok, with knowledge of trends, best practices, and engagement strategies.
  • Ability to develop and execute content strategies that align with business goals, brand identity, and audience needs.
  • Strong organizational and time management skills, with the ability to manage multiple projects, meet deadlines, and adapt to shifting priorities.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with experience working cross-functionally with marketing, sales, and product teams.
  • Attention to detail and creative problem-solving skills, ensuring high-quality design and messaging consistency across all materials.
  • Highly adaptable and proactive, thriving in a fast-paced, dynamic environment with a results-driven mindset.
  • Knowledge of the manufacturing, fabrication, EDM, or industrial machinery industry is a plus.
  • Willingness to travel up to 25% for trade shows, customer site visits, and content capture opportunities.

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS THAT SET YOU APART

  • Proficiency in photography and videography is a plus. If you have a keen eye for capturing compelling visuals and know your way around a camera, we want you on our team!
  • Experience in the Fabrication, EDM, or milling industries is highly preferred.
