Job Summary
We are seeking a reliable and professional Chauffeur to provide safe and efficient transportation services for our clients. The ideal candidate will possess strong customer service skills and a commitment to ensuring a positive experience for passengers. This role requires a thorough understanding of vehicle maintenance and mechanical knowledge, as well as experience in various driving capacities such as box trucks, vans, or buses.
Duties
- Safely transport clients to their destinations while adhering to all traffic laws and regulations.
- Maintain a clean and well-functioning vehicle by performing regular inspections and basic maintenance.
- Provide excellent customer service by assisting passengers with their needs and ensuring comfort during transit.
- Plan efficient routes to minimize travel time while considering traffic conditions.
- Manage schedules effectively to ensure timely arrivals and departures.
- Handle any unexpected situations or emergencies calmly and professionally.
- Maintain accurate records of trips, including mileage, fuel consumption, and any incidents that occur during transport.
Qualifications
- Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record.
- Experience in commercial driving, including but not limited to box trucks, vans, or school buses is preferred.
- Strong customer service skills with the ability to communicate effectively with clients.
- Mechanical knowledge related to vehicle maintenance is a plus.
- Ability to navigate using GPS systems and maps efficiently.
- Flexibility in schedule availability, including the potential for early morning or late evening shifts.
- Strong attention to detail and safety awareness when operating vehicles.
